This project includes the reconstruction of approximately 1200 feet of Lake Park Road, (Plank Road to the Kensington Drive intersection) including the reconstruction of the Plank Road and Kensington Drive intersections as roundabouts.

The existing intersection of Lake Park Road and Plank Road is a four-way stop with Plank Road intersecting Lake Park Road. Three of the legs of the roundabout will have single lane entries and exits. The fourth leg will have a two-lane entry and a single lane exit.

The existing intersection of Lake Park Road and Kensington Drive is currently a three-way stop with a right turn bypass from Lake Park northbound onto eastbound Kensington. Adjacent to the intersection is a combination of commercial and residential properties. Lake Park, legs 1 and 2, are single lane entries and exits. Leg 3, Kensington Drive, is a two-lane entry and a single lane exit.

Construction is set for 2007.
