Auburndale Tire Recycling Center
OMNNI assisted Auburndale Recycling Center, Inc., Wisconsin’s largest tire recycling facility, in obtaining an operating permit under the State of Wisconsin’s new program regulating these operations. The approved plan provides assurances that the operation will continue to operate safely, with minimal risk of fire, vectors, or injury from equipment.
Portage County Spiritland Pit
OMNNI assisted Portage County in obtaining permits to open up a 54-acre sand and gravel pit. The operation includes extraction, crushing, sorting, and a portable hot-mix plant. OMNNI determined through drilling that the site contains 1.5 million tons of available, usable aggregate. In successfully obtaining the operation and reclamation permits, Portage County can now control its aggregate costs for road-building projects for many years into the future.
