Geotechnical and Materials Testing staff provide a variety of testing services to identify problems during construction, provide solutions, and ensure conformance to project specifications
OMNNI is equipped with its own laboratory that meets the requirements set forth in ASTM:C1077 for concrete and aggregate testing and ASTM: D3666 for asphalt mix testing. The Laboratory is nationally accredited through the AASHTO Accreditation Program and participates in the AASHTO Proficiency Sample Program.
OMNNI provides testing of concrete including concrete maturity testing which is used to estimate the in-place strength of concrete in buildings and structures. This method of testing can help shorten construction schedules and reduce costs.
Materials testing staff has the training and experience required to satisfy testing and engineering requirements for many different types of projects, including testing on Wisconsin Department of Transportation "Quality Management Program" (QMP) projects.
When an engineer designs a building, road, runway, or other structure, the design can only be as good as the materials proposed for use. As these designs become more and more sophisticated and expensive, increased engineering involvement and more frequent and timely testing of materials becomes that much more important to produce a quality, lasting product.
Our geotechnical and materials testing staff provide a variety of testing services to identify problems during construction, provide solutions and ensure conformance to project specifications.
